The lightbox plugin to view pictures
With WordPress you can insert images into articles, and in particular reduced versions when they’re too large (see this article to learn how to parameter image size).
In order to see the image in actual size, you can add a link in the image editor to the image’s file, that will open in the same window or in a new one. As you want.

Random generator of guitar rhythms
This plugin will add a new widget, with a random guitar rhythm inside. It can display up to 625 differents rhythms. Guitarists may find new rhythms and beginners new exercises. Since version 0.2, the content can be refreshed without reloading the page.
The plugin will give you only the rhythm, it’s up to you to choose the chords.

In fact spammers expect Google’s scan of our pages, and the consequent follow-up of their link, to improve their referencing.
But hey, antispams are more efficient nowadays and it seems that even Google is starting to follow these links again, in spite of nofollow.

Adding buttons to the editor
At the beginning, I was trying to add a table to an article. As I couldn’t see an ad hoc button in the base editor, I tried the impressive TinyMCE Advanced plugin which ideally complements the two basic button lines. Its strong point is certainly the drag and drop interface, allowing to display in four lines each of the original, and new buttons! Read more…
